WHO IS CANDID PRODUCTIONS?

Candid Productions was founded in the summer of 2020 by 22-year-old neurodivergent filmmaker Jayden Johnson. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jayden created the company as a creative outlet to showcase his editing and channel his passion for storytelling. Through his experiences in the Film Production program at San Diego State University, Candid Productions has evolved into an independent filmmaking company dedicated to creating immersive, emotionally driven films.

With every project, the goal remains the same: to give audiences a greater experience than the last. That commitment to continuous growth and meaningful storytelling is the foundation of everything Candid Productions creates.

Jalen Banks

Jalen Banks is a cinematographer from the Bay Area whose passion for visual storytelling began at a young age. During the pandemic, he dedicated himself to honing his craft, creating award-winning films recognized by festivals and scholarship programs. He also brings professional experience from his time as an intern with Chevron.
